Hi Mom,
It’s me – Lola, only I have a new name now – it is Alexis P. They call me Lexie for short – and the “P”
stands for “problem”. My new mom and dad gave that to me because I have I am curious about
everything.
It has been a month already and life here in California is pretty nice and my new parents are really
good to me. I have been growing a lot and they say I have almost doubled in size since I arrived. I
am starting to learn some things already like “speak” “stay” and the ever popular “no”. I’m even
doing pretty good on my potty training and can almost jump up onto the couch now. Jumping off is
easy, but getting back up there is a little harder but I almost have it down. I have a lot of energy
especially in the morning and evenings. In the morning I give lots of kisses and get to run around
and chase my toys, drag shoes out of the closet when my mom isn’t looking and drag dad’s socks
around when I can. I even walk into the shower with mom most days.
A lot of people have come over to meet me with lots of cool presents and say that I am just
adorable!!! I have my very own Cookie Jar and quilt for the couch. I went on my first outing a
couple of weeks ago to Apple Hill – the pictures I am sending are from that day. It was a lot of fun
and I got pets from so many people!!! I just kept wagging my tale and people kept coming over to
say hi to me.
Well, it’s time to get going. I have to work on my chew bone a little more before taking my nap.
Love,
Lexie
